Pharmacy Tech Roles

UC Health’s pharmacy technician roles present an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking structured training and career advancement opportunities. Several representatives from pharmacy shared their personal career journeys, demonstrating the advancement opportunities that exist within UC Health. The minimum requirement for the initial pharmacy technician role is a High School Degree or GED. Candidates can start as pharmacy technician trainees without certification, allowing them to gain hands-on experience while working toward their credentials. These roles are open to adult job seekers as well as high school seniors, making them accessible to a wide range of individuals.

Benefits and Pay

During the tour, UC Health pharmacy representatives emphasized their dedication to supporting employee growth through various professional development initiatives. This includes a tuition reimbursement program offering up to $5,250 per year, as well as additional educational benefits such as student loan forgiveness and access to University of Cincinnati educational cohort programs for core classes.

Pharmacy technician roles at UC Health start at $15 per hour, with shift differentials of up to $5 per hour available as employees advance.
