Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use this site. This statement explains where we stand, what we have fixed, what is still not right, and how to reach us.

Our commitment

The Workforce Innovation Center is committed to making workforceinnovationcenter.com accessible to people with disabilities. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard used to measure whether a website can be used by people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we have done

An accessibility widget sits on every page of this site. It lets you change contrast and text size, turn on reading aids, and adjust how the page is presented.

In September 2026 we reviewed the site templates and content against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and made fixes to navigation, forms, color contrast, keyboard access, and screen reader labels.

We review new content as it is published, and we fix problems as we find them.

Known limitations

Some parts of this site are not yet fully accessible. These are the ones we know about.

  • The Workforce and Talent Ecosystem Map. The map on our Resources pages is built and hosted by a third party, MapMe. It may not be fully operable with a keyboard or a screen reader. If you need what is in it, contact us and we will send you the same information in another format.
  • Embedded LinkedIn posts. Some pages show posts from LinkedIn. That content is built by LinkedIn, not by us, and we cannot change how it behaves.
  • Older newsletter issues. Earlier issues in our newsletter archive were produced as email layouts and may not be fully accessible. Later issues will be published as accessible web pages.
  • Google reCAPTCHA. Some of our forms use reCAPTCHA to block spam. It includes an audio alternative if the visual challenge does not work for you.

Tell us about a problem

If something on this site blocks you, please tell us. Let us know the page address and what happened, and we will reply within five business days.

If you need information from this site in a different format, ask us and we will work out the best way to get it to you.

Browsers and assistive technology

This site is built to work with current versions of the major browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari, and with common screen readers, including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
