In February, we hosted our first employer tour of 2025 at Darana Hybrid, an electrical and mechanical contracting company in Hamilton, Ohio. This tour was brought about through our continued collaboration with Advanced Manufacturing Industry Partnership (AMIP) of which Darana Hybrid is a member. The company has transformed its 170,000-square-foot facility from the ground up, turning a once-condemned building into a hub for advanced manufacturing. With a planned expansion in the works, career opportunities at Darana Hybrid are growing.

Workforce Training & Upskilling

Darana Hybrid provides its workforce with internal training programs that equip employees with valuable skills, offer career advancement opportunities, and issue industry credentials. The company recognizes the importance of mentorship and provides informal support for new hires, helping them navigate their roles and workplace expectations.

Darana is also introducing initiatives to upskill veterans in Butler and Warren counties, offering core training at Hamilton High School, and enlisting retired professionals and educators as mentors.

Education & Community Engagement

Darana Hybrid is proactive in introducing young people to career opportunities in manufacturing. Their education programs begin with community-based organizations for early elementary school students and continue with facility tours for middle and high school students. Through partnerships with community colleges and a pre-apprenticeship program with Sinclair, they’re helping students in the greater Cincinnati region gain hands-on experience and a pathway into the skilled trades.

Hiring, Pay & Benefits

Darana Hybrid hires at all levels and receives a high volume of applications for every open position. Pay starts at $15 per hour and up, depending on the role. Employees enjoy health, dental, and vision insurance, along with the opportunity to continuously grow their skills at their chosen trade.
